A Warning

Thursday, October 10, 2013

There is a blogger who seems to think its okay to take others photos and work and pass them off as her own. I was informed by another blogger who was also ripped off by this person that she had posted my images as her own. She went so far as to watermark MY pictures with her blog name. In her post there is a vague reference to my blog for materials and no credit or link back to me. I have asked her to remove my images from her post but so far she hasn't complied. You might want to check this person out to make sure she hasn't pirated your work. Click Here if  would like to make sure you haven't had your work stolen.

This face expresses exactly how I feel about this, GRRR!!

  1. Ugh! I'm so sorry this happened to you. People have a lot of nerve, don't they. It's happened to a lot of bloggers. Not just photos, but entire posts re-posted with no acknowledgement. There are pages on Facebook that are made up entirely of other peoples photos with no link back, and, given a different watermark. Grrrrrrrr is right!

Blessings to you... you are so good that people have to literally "COPY" your work!

  5. I am sorry you are going through this, it is unfortunate that there really is no way to enforce this type of behavior on the Internet. I hope you will be able to resolve it, but please know that your work will always be YOURS, and those of us that follow your blog are supporting you!

  10. The problem w/foreign blogs, and other online stores, is that there are so few copyright laws that other countries have to follow ~ Unless you have a specific copyright on everything you do, including photos of your house, or, even your precious dog, other blogs or stores in other countries can sadly, steal your work ~ I had some work stolen a couple years ago from an online store I had, and even tho the admin. people said they'd look into it, by that time it was too late, and my work was poof!, into a factory somewhere being made for a song. You might want to contact a copyright attorney to see what your options are for getting back any images you want, but it may take awhile, and there may be no guarantee that anything will happen. ~ Sorry you had this happen, but these days there doesn't seem to be much kindness out there in cyber-land! ~ Hugs!
